Time sure does fly by fast, when you're having fun!  I had a great summer and I hope you all did too. I'm ready to start blogging again and start adding more videos to my youtube channel.  I have so many ideas that I can't wait to share with everyone.  I'm going to start with posting some Fall Fashion Outfit Ideas.   For Fall, you need to stay warm and at the same time stylish.

Trend: Strappy Ankle Heels

You may have noticed all of the department stores selling them.  You may have noticed all of the celebrities rocking them.  They are sexy, fun, and they come in all different colors/designs.  If you don’t know, I am talking about this season’s hottest trend which is strappy ankle heels!   They will compliment any outfit you wear.  It’s definitely time to stock up on strappy ankle heels, for your wardrobe.   Below are some of my recent purchases for all under $100.

I love the bold lime green color.  It's perfect for Spring and will add a pop of color to your outfit.

Trend: Leather Jackets

The leather jacket has quickly become a year-round staple piece. They come in all different styles and colors. Most importantly, it is an easy to wear trend that adds a finishing touch to your outfit. The leather jacket works with everything from skinny jeans to floral dresses. Weekly Thrift Finds #2

So sorry for the late post.  I have been sick, the last few days.  Anyways, here are few of my thrifting finds from last week.  I didn't get to go thrfting as much, due to being sick, but I was still happy with all my finds.  First off, I bought 4 vintage dresses.  They were only $2 each so I couldn't resist.  I do plan to alter them a little, so I'm going to save them to show you in my next post.  My mom is going to give me her old sewing machine and teach me how to use it.  Hopefully it will all go well.  I will make sure to show before and after pictures.  In the meantime,  here is a little teaser =)

Up next, I found three pair of shoes from Target that were at Goodwill for only $3.99 each.  I think Target donates some of their things when they can't sell it, since they need to make room for new inventory.  The weird thing is that one of the boots is still for sale on their website for $29.99.  So, basically I was able to save tons of money on three brand new shoes!

I was so happy to purchase the black wedge boots in the middle.  I have been wanting to get them all winter season but didn't want to pay 30 bucks for them.  The only bad part was that these are a size 5 1/2.  I wear a 6 and 6 1/2 but for $3.99, I will make them fit.  LOL.  They are a little tight but I will deal with it. 

Next, I found some gold chain necklaces and couldn't resist and bought them all.  They were only $1 each.  Also, I bought two pair of earrings.  

Up next I have purses.  I found a multi color vintage bag, a cream satchel and a mustard bag.  

 Last but not least are my blouses. 

From left to right, another leopard blouse (can't get enough of those), a white blouse with black lining on the collar, a floral blouse, the next two blouses are just color ones that I don't have yet, and another polka dot blouse. (can't get enough of those either)  

Also, today I was playing around with different outfits to wear when I'm on vacation and here is one of them:

I have great news to share.  They accepted my offer, so I am officially a homeowner now!  I will be turning one of the bedrooms into my personal room, where all of my clothes/shoes/purses/etc will go.  I can't wait to start decorating and renovating my new home.  Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Hello all!  I have been super busy this week.  I do work full time and go to graduate school at night.  I have two midterms this week and I have been working overtime too.  So, I'm very sorry for the lack of post.  I have a DIY that I need to finish.  Also, every week after my trips to the thrift store, I will be showing you every item that I purchased.  =)  In the meantime, I have been posting my OOTD on instagram.  Instagram is a quick and fun way to display your OOTD.  Follow me at seek_vintage.  Here are a few pictures of recent OOTD.

Sunday = Thirfting Day!

Just wanted to post a picture of my latest findings from last week.  I have mention before that I do go thrifting once a week and sometimes even twice a week.  I always go on Sunday and then again during the weekday. Oh and here are pictures of a recent ootd.  I got the vintage blouse and trousers for only a total of $10. 

Also, I am going to start selling some items in my closet that I don't need anymore.  Some of them will be my thrifting finds :)  Here is one of the items I'm selling. Trend: Colorblocking

Spring is finally here!  Colorblocking is a trend that I love.  It's not hard to put together, but if you want to be on the safe side, then just stick to only 2 or 3 colors.  I also love wearing pastel colors together.  Here I pair a peach blouse with mint green pants.  I decided to wear nude wedges to help balance it out.  I put these pictures together for my instagram account. Trend: Floral Print

I love the floral print trend!  You see it on basically anything from clothing, shoes, and even nails =)  I love it so much that I can't stop purchasing it.  I always come out of the store with something floral related.  I am going to have to show you all my floral print collection soon.  In the picture above, I'm wearing one of my recent floral print purchases.  I was looking for a dress that was cute and affordable.  I found this dress on ebay for only $25.  I was a little hesitant to purchase it at first but I am so glad I did.  The quality is better than I expected and the floral print is GORGEOUS!  I have been receiving compliments all day!  I am going to post the link below so that anyone interested can purchase it too.  =)

Just wanted to quickly blog my outfit for today. I do work full-time and today is a business casual day. I decided to add some color to my outfit instead of the daily black and white. I still have two more finals left and then this weekend I am going to devote all of my time to this blog. =) Oh and clean my apartment. LOL. Have a great day!

Is it Spring yet?

Urban Outfitters Floral Sweater, Forever 21 pants and shoes

I hope you all had a great weekend! I did not want to get up to go to work today. In order to brighten my mood, I decided to wear my floral sweater with some bright pants. =) I cannot wait for Spring/Summer. Do any of you have any plans yet? I am going to Las Vegas in August. This will be my first time visiting Las Vegas, so I am beyond excited!

I'm getting ready for work, so I thought I take a few quick pictures of my outfit. These photos are going to be on my instagram. Anyways, Happy Thursday! We only have one more day to go :) I get to have a three day weekend cause I get President's Day off from work. So that means I am going to be doing one thing and that is GO SHOPPING! There will be tons of sales going on. I will do a review of all my purchases and I can't wait to read about yours too :) Also, I decided to post more pictures of Pearl. I'm so glad that there are other cat lovers out there. I have gotten questions about her size and she's really not that big of a cat. These pictures will show her better in size and cuteness :)

I just wanted to wish you all a Happy Valentine's Day and introduce you to the love of my life. Her name is Pearl and I bought this dress because it reminded me of her. It has cats all over and everybody always jokes around and calls me a "crazy cat lady." LOL. Also, RIP Whitney Houston. You will be miss! :(

Please check the first post.   Anyways, as promise this is my first outfit that I'm wearing with an item that I bought from the thrift store. This is really what I am wearing to work today. I found this leopard blouse for only $2.99.  It is a size large, but I like to tuck in my blouse and I can just roll up the sleeves.  I apologize for the bad camera quality.  I am looking to purchase a new camera this weekend.  I might invest in a really nice one, since I want nice pictures for my blog.  If anybody has any recommendations on camera, please let me know.  Thanks!
